Google finally kicked out spammy jammy and low-quality free-domain provider co.cc from Index. Although this TLD is not yet banned from AdWords but still a bad and risky neighborhood.
.co.cc domain type are not officially authorised in the sub domain such as. co. uk or com co. and domains are independently provided by the Korean company, which owns simply on domain co. cc, and later the anything.co.cc offer to its customers. CcTLD-cc is set up to work., region of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, which is the Indian Ocean Australian territory. The TLD .cc is administered by Verisign.
Thousands of sub-domains were registered resulting spamming, as it was increasing the value of .co.cc domain name. Google’s anti-malware scanning systems already detected sites that distribute malware, however it was reported back on the 17th June 2011, on the official Google blog.
The Korean Company who owns .co.cc reported that they have 11,383,736 registered domain and 5,731,278 user account, making it one of the largest domain in the world. It may seem difficult for a site like WordPress or Tumblr to police every single site that is created on their domain, but there are patterns that spammers use that can be filtered through an automated program.
